Naruto Shippuden: Anime or Manga then Anime

I have always watched the anime since the original series, but the manga is so far ahead!  With all these fillers, it's really tempting....
Will it ruin watching the anime?  Or do you think it'd be worth it?

I would say the anime is worth waiting for. I made that mistake with one piece and regretted it. Just do what you want though.

Manga does tell more of the story because the anime has a time limit.

For Naruto - Yes. I've read up to 54. But 53... OMG IT IS BOSS. Something that makes Shippuden somewhat good. My advice: Read the Manga before the Anime. ALWAYS!
