Error Vertex File

Hello, I've been getting a weird type of error i'd like to show you all.

But first, here's some server info on where it happened...

Server: Stronghold/Zombie Survival

Description of Event: Most of the time I'd notice some players/models seem to be invisible. I once asked this one player why he seemed to be invisible, earlier on Stronghold.... He simply said he wasn't, but he also said he had a 'black gangster playermodel'. So, here's the funny but annoying part...when I start my own server and use particular models like those I wouldn't get any problems with missing models or anything. I mean, with Anything.

Error: 'Error Vertex File for Humans\Group03\male_03.mdl - checksum 634773909 should be -1034868466'

Multiple or Single Error: Multiple - Spams/floods my console with the same exact error along with numbers and whatnot -- which basically means if I end up getting in trouble with some other player, and if I need logs for some particular reason, then I'll need to find a way to clear this problem up.

Also...I must let you all know that I have not had any other particular console errors like these before and I have not recently downloaded anything except...for that Elevator: Source Addon Pack, ofcourse; but I don't think that has anything to do with ZS nor Stronghold, right? But I don't really have that many stuff in my addons folder if you ask me - Just that elevator: source pack, wiremod, some small vehicle addon ... and that's actually pretty much it. if you need proof for a real error or anything, you can still let me know - But it would take a while to get it; and by that, I mean that I'd have to clear some personal steam account-info and others stuff aswell...but anyway, feel free to comment below. Once again, (if i've said so before,) this is a usual console error -- but I'd get it on such servers like Zombie Survival and Stronghold...that's the type of servers i'd usually play, but because I love their gamemode(s) ... but anyway, yeah.

I get the same error with the crowbar model, but theres not usually any visual problems with it (like it being invisible, or the texture not showing).

Have you tried renaming your garrysmod folder, then starting gmod again so it'll create a fresh copy?

If that doesn't work, try verifying your HL2/Base content on steam and see if maybe that has something to do with it.

Alright, thanks for the help. I just renamed both 'GarrysMod' folders to gmod. And then I restarted steam, started my singleplayer server, and then I noticed the addons I got disappeared. But I don't seem to be having any problems anymore...I'm just going to join zombie survival in a minute from the time I posted this comment. But anyway, thanks for helping and later i'll see if I can download elevator source (addon) again -- mabye i'll be able to see IF that's the problem or not. Also, I actually put it in my addons folder, so yeah...but it's not like I put everything there

Instead of re-downloading those files, just copy them over one folder at a time from your old garrysmod folder (the one you named "gmod").

That way you can tell if it was an addon problem or not.

Alright. That did it - No more problems anymore. Thank you Deacon, and thanks to Snivy M.D. for the help...problem solved
