Customize your desktop

There's a software for customizing desktops by adding some measure&meter called Rainmeter. It uses some simple codes to create stuffs so, it's good if you want a beautiful desktop.

DreamScene is also pretty cool if you have the CPU for it.

Basically, run HD WMV's as a background.

I have a 2.0 Intel Dual core, it idles at about 50% with dreamscene running.

You can right click your desktop and pause it though, if you're going to go in-game or something.

If you're running Aero though, it fucks up icon text. Note how they're all transparent, and only the border is visible.

Not a big deal imo.

How old is your computer .____.

The LAPTOP I'm using was only $150 and was designed for students. Not vidya or resource intensive stuff like this, but I was able to run dreamscene + fraps without any framerate loss :v

my computer crashes whenever i use too much . some games take a lotta ram and crash my computer with nothing playing in background
