Zombie Ban Appeal

1. Steam ID    STEAM_0:0:6253320

2. Players Nickname   Zombie

3. Your in-game name  Zombie, Z o m b i e, Zombie is Snooze

4. Server name F2S Stronghold

5. Description of the event(s)  I changed my steam name to "1%" last night before I signed off, I logged into steam this morning, tried to join stronghold, and I got a message saying I was banned for using a banned name or something like that. I had no idea what I did, so I changed it back to Zombie and now it says im Permabanned.

6. Reason for appeal.  I dont hack, I dont cheat, i LOOVE stronghold, and this server is clearly the best. I've been playing for 2 or 3 months now, Im quite good, I was being specced by coolzeldad a few days ago but I dont cheat. it was a good game for me. I am cool with NRG iStealth and some other Regs, and stronghold is the only game I play on PC anymore, I can easily log 3-5 hours a day in it on the days Im home. Zombie

7. Screenshots or demo(s) | Optional console log(s)  I dont have a screenshot, its just a permabanned message now when I log in. should I grab a screenie of that?

8. Link to sourceban page   I cant find my steam ID or anything else in the ban page

Talk to coolzeldad, it's an auto ban and admins can't do anything about it.

I guess im unbanned now. Got in and played fine for a few games.

was the ban supposed to be timed? that woulda been nice to know :D

When you change your name (atleast in TTT) you get banned for 10 minutes. It could have glitched and "permanently" banned you for 10 minutes, I guess.

Eion, he was banned from Stronghold. It's probably the % character, since it's possible to have an invisible name with it.
