Time between starting votekicks/bans.

I think that VIPs shouldn't have any time limit before making another votekick or voteban. Right now it is 20-25 seconds but I think it should be reduced to 0 or at least 10 or below.
After all VIP is not Respected. VIPs do know what they're doing and so far this time limit is only an opportunity for bad people to escape the punishment.
   So what you guys think?

Yes I approve this,
For instance
>Hacker/Name changer
>voteban
>Regulars think I got the wrong person
>They vote no
>10 seconds later Hacker Escapes

I support this. Also, could we be given the option to choose the lenght of kick/bans?

Sometimes I kick afk's and it would be gun to be able to kick them for a minute. Of course, there would be a specific amount of time that we can kick/ban that player, like no more then 2 hours.

Thank you Marie for the sprite.

If you're going to give VIP's more power, you may want to stop giving so much leniency on applications as well.

Just saying.

If the current time limit is under 25 seconds I don't feel like it should be shortened but I certanly wont oppose it.

That does not sound like a good idea. Your setting the system up to fail if you don't put in restraints. In the time that that person is banned you can submit a report with SOLID PROOF to get the [hacker] permanently banned.

I can't remember the ban time though, if it's just 2 hours then I wouldn't mind giving the VIP a selection of "Everything Else - 2 HOURS" and "Definente Hacker - 3 HOURS". (I think I spelled [Deff En En T] wrong)
I have avatars and signatures disabled. There is no reason to judge people here by anything other than what they post.

This would be very useful. Now speaking about extending the maximum ban length for VIPs I think that extending a ban from 3 hours to even 1 day would be very useful, but only if VIPs would be able to choose ban length.
Yesterday I had to ban the same hacker for 3 times. So yeah, I think that this would be very useful.

It's not like VIPs have much power anyways, then can only start a VOTE for 5 or 60 minutes ban. That is not much at all.

Every ban and kick should be reduced to 0 sec...
It's so annoying when u got 2 ghosters and u kick/ban the first 1 and then u gotta wait 20-25 sec too kick/ban the next one.

It's not giving more power.

Just being able to set how long a voteban/kick lasts.

The cap could still be 60 minutes, but it would allow VIP's to ban for 1/15/30 lengths.

I still want a "just kick" option, that doesn't boot them out for 5 minutes though :v

Giving more power, to anyone, is definitely a hit or miss. Having more control on the power, on the other hand...

I was under the impression that the premise of the thread was removing/lowering the time limit BETWEEN kicks and bans.

Besides, an hour is pretty short anyway. Get reported for almost anything, and you'll be banned for at least a day.

 The process of kicking/banning people needs to be thought out more than 10 seconds. Most votekicks/bans are approved almost instantly anyways. The time limit now is perfect.

If VIPs do need some time to think before they votekick/ban another person then what difference would that 10 second timer between votes would do? We don't ban someone if we're not sure. After all VIP is quite hard to get and the power that this rank has compared to the process of getting it is quite low.
