"There is no such thing as an unloaded gun"
I have this image (I will post it later, I'm in school) that makes use of this in a really funny way, it was a photo of an M1 Garand posted on some "outlaw guns" group on Facebook and this was the caption:
"Have you heard of the deadly M1 Garand rifle? From what the crazed gun nuts tell me, it was used by the Germans (hence 'Garand', a German word for 'Murder') during World Escalated Conflict 2 to kill innocent Jewish children. Now, I discovered something truly sinister about this rifle... after you have expended the 8-round internal mag (internal mags are easier to conceal), the clip will eject with a loud, scary PING. You may THINK that the gun is now out of bullets and cannot shoot. If the owner of one of these M1 Garand rifles is committing a shooting spree, you may think it is safe to stop cowering once you hear the PING sound. However, one of the 10 Basic Firearm Rules is that a gun 'is always loaded'. That means, even though you may think the gun is empty, it is still loaded and can still be used the murder children. The PING sound was simply engineered to lure children out of their hiding places during a shooting spree. Please call your congressmen and ask them to ban this vile weapon."
