Ban Appeal for KrazyMexican
« on: December 26, 2011, 10:47:49 PM »
Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:31659098
Name: KrazyMexican
Server: .:`=-~rANdOm~`-=:. -Stronghold- Fight to Survive! :>
Accusation: Accused of Name Changing and Aim Boting
Source Ban: http://bans.randomgs.com/index.php?p=banlist&advSearch=STEAM_0:1:31659098&advType=steamid&Submit

Appeal:
I was just playing on the stronghold server and a person named HgK 1337 was aimboting. People started calling him out. (I didnt say anything) Kurtis and Cabe were there forgot about other ppl, I wasnt really accused of the name changing and aim boting I was just there. It could of been a ban mishap or purposly, I really dont know. Nobody was spectating me or anything I just kept dying when i poked my head out. So I dont really know why I was banned or anything. I Never hacked throughout playing games. I was just caught in a crisis matter.

Thanks for reading this.

It's likely the name-changer changed to your name and they just happened to pick yours instead of his.
We'll see though.

I've played with Mexican a lot on TTT and he isn't that kind of player.

Guys, I actually saw such thing happened in Stronghold today. A hacker came in to the server and his name is vary (somehow mimic in-game people's name).
The point is, I did not manage to screenshot and record him.  :(

I'm not sure how is it for the admins but for the VIPs there are absolutely no trouble banning a player who is name changing.

Next time type  "record" <any demo name here>  without the (") in your console and you'll be able to record anything.
Oh and after you're done recording type "stop" in your console without the (").

Out of curiosity, what exactly would that *alone* prove / not prove given the manipulatability [yeah, maybe created a word there] of that folder, w/ or w/out the installation of cracks?

You know that we do it for the modify date, so if he reinstalled gmod the modify date will be another one

The folder's last modified date doesn't update frequently unless you take/add a file to it yourself.

So it's just a matter of comparing the screenshot's modified date with my last modified date.
