I agree with what Shawn said, Too many people in the united states are greedy about their coin. I wouldn't be surprised this will change in the near future though.

Pennies actually aren't useless.
Charities and other shit that you're meant to give change to, actually profit a LOT from them. Such a small amount, but a lot of people are easily willing to give that small amount to help, and it actually does. Businesses also run off of them in the same manor.

I'm really surprised no one has said anything about this... no discussion? D:
