My PC is in the very back of my living room, with a 6-foot tall divider so nobody can see what I'm doing unless they're watching TV on the couch.

Why would you put your pc in the living room? put it in your room... I have one pc in a spare bedroom, one in my room... and i use my laptop when I'm in the living room....

When ever I get asked what kind of computer to get by someone:

If they relatively decent with computers, and are into games, or going into a engineering field, I recommend they get a PC.

If the person has some difficulty with general computing tasks, or is relatively computer literate and wants to get into multimedia editing. I tell them to get a Mac.

And if the person Is a programmer, or not satisfied with any current operating system, I tell them to get Linux.


Saves me a lot of time not having to troubleshoot problems for them all the time.

Macs actually change the specs for some people, thereby causing certain people with less-then-stellar computers to lag more in-game overall. I have to find the source :x
