Title: Is Origin worth it?

Well, 2 days until BF3 comes out and I really want it for PC but I've heard a lot of bad things about Origin being some commercial spyware
Is anyone on the forums using Origin and have they had problems with it?

More user unfriendly than facebook.

Meh origin is okay, just way too basic compared to steam.

I like steam, but it ALWAYS crashes and freezes, even on my old computer and now on this one.

origin has its bugs but is okay i guess, cant be compared to steam though as it is too basic.
