Title: Zs_Descent - My first ZS map

It's inspired by ascent even though it's nothing like it, and hopefully a bit better (Probably not though). It's my first map i've made in hammer so CnC please but no harsh words :P Anyway it features three floors (Two breakable floors that break every 3 rounds), an office and control room and some decent places to cade. The whole idea of the map was that it is an old abandoned mine, and the elevator is out of use. There is a zombie invasion so you have to escape by going down into the unknown while watching your back and surviving. There isn't tons of content, but if it gets good feedback i may expand it and add more rooms.

Oh yeah, i did want one way doors on the first floor like ascent to prevent humans from going out, but if they don't work i may fix them in the next version (The zombie spawns are pretty spaced and theres a good number of them so it should help prevent spawn camping).

Hi guys, v2 out now ... Still not perfect, but much better than the last hopefully. Please let me know what you think.

Includes:
- New rooms including a secret room, kitchen and storage room.
- Map name added
- Improved the hole
- Some other stuff which i forgot to mention

Update: I have checked the map, and its great, but laggy(using old computer), I'm a little concerned that it will affect people with not a good graphics card.

Ok guys, i think i realised why everybody says it's laggy, i think its cause i used a prefabed football and icehockey table which has a ton of entities, and sprites etc. So, i removed them - I can't tell if it is faster cause my computer could run them both fine anyway, but i'll need Coolz to upload this sometime and replace it with the current one.

Update: Checked out the map, still laggy(Again, using old laptop.) there might be an other entity/entities that causes too much lag or something. Maybe I can decompile the map to see whats causing all the lag. Also, are you using pakrat because I can't see the credits because its all black and pink. Pakrat is very useful for adding custom textures to your map.

Ok, this should be it for a while. When you told me i forgot the credits material, i was like, shit.

That one includes the material of the credits and also i lowered the values on the trigger hurts from like '100000000000000000000000000000000' to '1000'. And yes, i use pakrat, not sure what else there is out there to use instead of it.

Take off the triggerhurt in the staircase, this includes taking away hp/armor stations.

No secret rooms.

Less laggy map ._.

If you do these your map will be fine.

Update 9/2/11, I have edited the map and I made the map less laggy. I also extended the blocked off section to make things a little more interesting. Here are other map details:
Blocked off noob trap with a combine force field,
Fixed many Textures,
Deleted many secrets,
Deleted Ballsockets and physics bridge in the bottom of descent, (Cause of lag)
Extended Blocked off Section with a stairwell and many other things.
More things will be added today, possibly releasing the map during the afternoon or evening, if not tomorrow.
