Hello RND, some of you already know about my commitment into joining the Marine Corp. well as off Tuesday the commitment will be honored when I begin the next phase of my life, the Life as a United States Marine. This life will be challenging and hard, and I regret to inform, it means I will not be capable of playing steam games for at least 6 months. Let me take my time in thanking every last one of you who have stood by my side, helped me, and even smite me, if not for you I would have largely forgotten this place and moved onto another forum say Noxious Net. *shudders* so with that being said I have one thing left to say before it go.......

Good luck not having an absolute breakdown and suffering permanent emotional trauma that cripples your social abilities for the rest of your life and alienates all your loved ones.
Really, good luck with that.
I know you're excited for this. I just genuinely hope that you don't have the same idealistic view of war as most guys your age do.
This might come off as a bit of a buzzkill comment, but I've had relatives who thought they were just going to leave, "serve their country" in some non-threatening peaceful way, and get to shoot lots of guns. They came back with severe PTSD, too many medications to handle, failing relationships, and a big "fuck you" from the government when they wanted help afterwards.
Just be careful out there.
