In Stronghold, the map voting window doesn't show up at the end of the map. Instead, you only have about 10 seconds to press F1 and vote before it picks the map randomly.

OHMYGOD it's so nice to have all the old maps back.

However many of them like dm_island17 need weapons, some have small amounts weapons like they used to before they were updated and others have literally 0 weapons.

You don't spawn pre-round anymore you only spawn in when the match actually starts on TTT.

Edit* Weapons appear to be spawning correctly now thank you Coolz and Deacon (for being such a good messenger) also you now spawn pre-round all fix'd.

In Stronghold there is a problem with players being invisible on some of the maps.

You can fix it by typing record into console but every time you turn it off and you die they will be invisible again.

I'm looking for details on how the Shotguns on Stronghold functioned previously, I have determined the issue with ammo. I'm just curious as there are a couple of ways I can fix this...

Essentially I'm looking for details on how the number of clip's remaining was previously calculated (I personally can't recall)... For instance with the Pistol's or SMG's the number of clips (x3 etc) doesn't reduce until you reload.

The Shotguns reloading is handled much differently, essentially I'm curious if the number of clips remaining would decrease upon firing once you've used greater than half of the clip (5 shots), or would it decrease the clip count upon reloading, like Pistol's or SMG's?

Basically, would the clip count reduce while firing, or while reloading?

This issue seems to be due to a regression in Garry's Mod itself, and not related to the game mode.

(mfw shotguns have clips... wtf is this? lol)


Looking forward to an accurate response from someone who has a clear memory of the functionallity... If not I'll implement it one way or the other.



Edit: Well, Shotgun ammo is no longer infinite, I believe it's back to working how it was originally intended.
Also the voting at the end of the round is fixed too.

I believe it may be at the 3/4 mark of the reload. When fired, ammo is depleted as usual but when reloading there is a jitter of the ammunition bar.
Or most likely the problem is at the entire reload process, and nothing is taken from the reserve.

is true 100x over, would it not make more sense to implement it so that your magazine count decreased based on the amount of remaining shells?

Ex: X|YY

Where x is loaded, and YY is extra ammo

Then have the YY values recalculate during reload

I was playing Stronghold today and you can do the glitch where you head sticks out of door, so basically you can shoot through them. Found that out by accident, could we fix this?

Played a bunch of zs yesterday, only found 2 problems.

- The "You Have Lost" text and the countdown until next map text overwrite each other, making it hard to read. I am not sure however if this is a resolution problem.
- zs_maze has had this problem for a while, it eliminates reg and vip ranks and sets everyone to guest. This also revokes their powers. I wouldn't remove the map yet, but this is a strange issue that I have only seen on this map.

In pre-round, if you time it right and suicide when the counter hits 0:00 - 0:01 you will spawn where you died.

I think the AK fix worked, I've actually been able to escape AK shots lately unlike when it did 1-2 shot kills.

The Desert Eagle was always a 1 hit kill weapon. The weapons are meant to be OP.

k reduced deagle 25% more.. now its about 3x as powerful as the next most powerful handgun

conflicting stuff about ak, added tad bit more recoil ~12.5% increase

and sweet :3

On crummy cradle, if you time it right, you can suicide on the factory building. Also, in thething, you could suicide and end up on the coast where no other players could reach you. So it could actually cause a few problems here and there. I'm assuming this bug isn't hard to fix?

Speaking of SH, I noticed a weird thing on one of the maps where I would place a prop, then use the door tool to turn it into a door... then the prop would outright disappear.  No C4 going off, and my prop limit doesn't go back up as if a prop of mine was destroyed.

Please investigate.



Also, for ZS, can we please kill the knockback for when a zombie gets hit with a bullet?  As it is now, it can outright PARALYZE zombies - not just in movement, but using their special ability, making it impossible to go up against 5 people camping spawn.  If the knockback was killed, among other ideas, then I feel less would complain since the knockback being gone means the Zs can do more to fight back against campers.

SIG is like firing a gun mounted onto a spring.
I can see for an automatic it's fine but even with like 2 shots on single fire it blasts off ~2 inches away from you are originally aiming.

It's not OP at ALL

It's buggy as fuck and only hits the target 50% of the time, it explodes mid-air, doesn't insta kill sometimes, and the rockets cost TWO HUNDRED dollars a PIECE.

It's not OP at all imo.

Strange, I was getting 2 shots at distance but 1 shot at short range yesterday.
Unless hits on feet do less damage? I dont know much of hitboxes other than head-shots do the most damage.

So just type connect random.dontexist.com into the console and once you're in the server you can type !servers to change to another server. No one seems to be aware that they're up though, most likely due to the IP issue.

I checked with one of the TTT address's and it worked the IP's must be back to normal,all Random servers where empty and i dont know if this was my internet but the TTT maps wouldnt download but the wire server downloaded just fine.

Zombie Survival works the exact same as it did before. Although, I did find a glitch with the crossbow, where you could zoom in, switch weapons and keep the same FOV. So I guess you could fix this by resetting the FOV back to normal when the player switches weapons.

Bro i wouldnt really care but right now im not even staying at my country im at england and im bored.No PS3 to keep me occupied till GMOD gets released.

YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW BORED I HAVE BEEN WITHOUT THESE SERVERS  ???  You have the best of ALL types of servers [Especially zomb survival]. I played these servers for like 11 months before they went down and I was piss bored... THANK you for resurrecting them!!

We had temp. servers while they main was down.

Look at my post on discussion Server uptime and downtime,i have had this similar problem could you post there also so others know.It happens to me but not on others.Cool said he has no problem like this.
