Hey XRAIN i noticed the TTT server is up but its password protected do you have an eta when you will be sharing the password to the forum :)
TTT is pretty much ready to go, just getting the last of the custom weapon stuff done, and mapchanger stuff, then we should only need to do a bit of testing and then it should be able to go live after that.

ZS is ready to go, I just need to get sourcebans linked. Thanks to minic for helping me with some database related issues last night, ranks and everything will be the same as well.
Rotation will go up a couple days after zs has been online. A few things to note is that the zs will only have 24 player slots, and that it will be running the new version of ZS. Once I get it online, I'll make a thread where people can post what changes they'd like to see on the gamemode. Currently, everything is at their default values.
So yeah. Hopefully ZS will be able to go online sometime later today.
Oh! That's great news Snivy! Also have my updated version of Beachead please? Or are you not running all those maps?

Custom in of itself isn't BAD, it's WHAT that specific stuff is, both conceptually and how it is coded, IMO.Idk i don't like custom stuff because it divides players and encourages people to play for a hat, or play for the basic function of using your spray which is then deemed a 'privilege'...you know what I mean?

would it be possible to remove the bright admin names again so that they just appear normal on the scoreboard?

Fixing the damage reduction to random levels, not original temp. levels.
(I.E. RND: 800 Karma=10% reduction or so, Original: 800 = 25% reduction or so)
I really like the new ZS, but I want to remove the tags that call people stupid. We aren't dicks, as far as i remember, and are not going to be nox....people aren't going to call us dicks for that. Nor do people really care/acknowledge much about that achievement.
I don't like the new zombie mod =|I put it on there because people wanted to try it out, along with me. I have no functional copy of the old ZS gamemode, so it is "permanent" in the sense that it wont be changed until the official servers come online.

I altered ttt's karma values a bit, and reduced the amount of damage reduction over 800.Eeeeexcellent....

I think you have the wrong version of crazycube.
You can kill all the cubes within seconds by throwing bodies around.
After playing another TTT server for a bit, and then playing our TTT, I realized something: our TTT is just plain bad.
I mean, the Trators get boring gear, the games are monotonous, and the karma system we have is just terrible. The game is "run around until you die and hope you become Traitor so that you can kill everybody because people are afraid it might not be you". The server I was playing on didn't have any amount of RDM we did (save for joke RDM, which we all feel like doing sometimes and never got to a troublesome amount), and there's usually somebody on the server who can file a report, if not kick or ban.
We should use this server as a testbed for new ideas, so let's see how the server does with a more lenient karma system (say, +75 a round) or without permakarma. If both ideas work, we hold a poll for what we keep.

I love this place because of you guys and wouldn't leave now, but TTT can get very boring and the karma very harsh. On the other server the karma went up to 1800 with people starting at 1000. agreed. if anything we should add more admins or VIPS. what i suggest is having temporary VIPS/admins that play on the servers regularly. And before people say that im only saying this so i can get VIP is wrong, i'm not at all interested in VIP/admin.
onto the extra T weapons, we should try out TTT with a few, we need to mix up the game play so traitors cant just use the exact same tactics each round and win every round. Test during Temp, vote before the actual servers come back.
What if we added something like rdm kicker ?
If you RDM more than one person you are automaticly kicked, and if you come back and do it again
the kick will just keep exstending the amount of time the player is banned
Karma leniency will result in more rdm, it's just a fact.
Right now only low karmas get rdm'ed sometimes, so you just have to pay attention to the scoreboard and not kill a 1k karma who kills a 10 karma
become lenient with karma and high karmas will get rdm'ed, too.
Alright, In light of the stream of rdm complaints I have instituted a new policy.
I will now, on random days without warning. Go through logs and retroactively ban rdmers.
So if you want to rdm, do so at your own risk, as I will not be merciful, and the bans will generally be from 1 day to a week or more.
Buuutt Xraaaiiinnn It was x reason and y did it first. Tough, it is very evident in the logs who rdms and if I took the time to stop and ban you, it means it was without question to me.
Doubt this policy? Why by skimming the logs today I found around 8 or 9 rdmers and they will now be enjoying a 6000-12000 minuet ban for a while.

Killing one person isn't rdm,
Is there anything we can do about the hitboxes. I can't count how many times I shot someone in the face/chest/neck and it didn't register. Also when I try to use the scope for a headshot, I miss completely even if he's standing still.
