I decided that all our Stronghold maps weren't so great, so I'm making a new one with as little effort as possible.
It's going to be perfectly symmetrical.
I was inspired by dm_killbox.
This is turning out to be more of a long-range run n' gun map.
See my below replies for up-to-date screenshots.

I think this will be awesome for stronghold, and yea stronghold doesn't have too many good maps :D
Suggestion, add a Tower that is taller that the other ones, in the middle of the map :)

That's a little weird because
I was thinking of doing that EXACT SAME THING in school today.
So, someone ban metahaze for being clarivoyant.
Adding 4 buildings on the ground to make it less empty, and to provide some cover.

Looks interesting. I like symmetrical stuff. :3 I love clean lab looking stuff even more....(Anything white with white light) :3 *portal fan* .......looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

you do realize i have a regular skybox texture on the top, but it's nodraw'd on the other sides so i didn't have to compile and noclip out just to take screenshots

16 spawnpoints, perfect for the server.
I made the center tower go all the way up to the top of the map. I don't know what else to add, so unless you guys have more decent suggestions I'm gonna compile and release today.

RND TTT server is 18 players, not 16 :)
One suggestion, add displacements to the ground, like small bumps..and so on :D

I just went with the default toolsskybox texture because I'm lazy.

There's only 2 versions.
At first I had credits in there as a game_text entity, but I decided it would come off to some as attention whoring so I removed it. For some reason, even when I have the logic_auto entity FIRE ONLY FUCKING ONCE it still displays it every couple minutes.
So, I took it out and uploaded it.
I'm going to hope that coolz/deathfurry remembers to update it.
