Title: Trouble in Terrorist Town
Post by: [TTPN] ShadowMoon on December 19, 2011, 12:14:53 AM
Seriously, there's been alot of RDMers and prop pushing whatever reports or sightings in rNd Trouble in Terrorist Town.
Can somebody find/think of a solution to this problem?
I am getting annoyed when I killed an RDMer, karma dropped, or even got RDM when round starts, ghosting and much more.

That's part of TTT man.
There is no one "right way" to fixing it.
All we can do is try our best at handling the problem as it occurs

Can't place an active (24 hours) Admin/VIP in the server to take care of this situation?

While it would be nice to have that, you gotta think about the other servers and the amount of Admin/VIPs there are. Sometimes the only solution is to get proof and report.

Vip/Admin cant be up for the whole day.

Think of the health of those ppl ( VIP's/Admins )

I know, have an Admin/VIP which has different time zone like for example US is at night but this
particular VIP/Admin is in asia and its in the afternoon. Then they can settle the situation.

Admins and VIPs try their best to be online at all times and we do have VIPs and admins from Asia, Europe and America.

Europe:
Don
Prox
Magic
Apie

Asia:
jim
yomo
iPounce

North/South America:
Everyone else

If it still happens that no one is online, just get proof and report.

I am sick of making any more reports.
Imagine one day you need to make 3 reports on RDMer, prop pushing and ghosting...

I personally enjoyed making reports.

What I did was copy and paste the report format, modified it to my liking (added color and such) and the saved it on notepad.
That way, whenever I had to make a report, all I would have to do is get the name/Steam ID of the player, paste it in title, open up notepad and paste the report file in there, and then simply put all the blocks into their right holes.

With getting the proof, it didn't take to long to SS with Steam, go to my page, click the picture, and then paste in the url.

I can understand though, doing it 3x a day over stupid reasons, but reasons that need to be dealt with correctly such as killing afk's.

Yeah it's cool to make a report...
But I hate to get proof and upload it.

That's the point. It's hard to get proof or demo when you are dead then you realised.

No, the "showconsole" command turns you into a pile of carrots.

On the end of the round or the pre-round.
Type ttt_print_damagelog in console.

On the end of the round or the pre-round.
Type ttt_print_damagelog in console.

Or bind it to a key, if possible, instead of having to type it out.

[Wish people would tell others to bind things to keys more often, easier than typing things over and over]

Today is like WTF.
A RDM, when he is T, he knifed a T for revenge RDM.
Very hard to get proof because it happens so sudden, that means he get away with it.
