So If you've guys seen the new fallout deal. Morrowind was $5. so i bought it and installed it and stuff. Execute! then uh.. right before i got to the menu it crashes saying im missing music or whatever. i have the file in my morrowing folder. soo i dont know what the fuck the problem is. i restarted, re installed, and theres nothing to fix. but inside the morrowind folder is an uninstall folder. so i tried that and it doesn't UNinstall, it says its trying to INSTALL it.. so i figure. huh i guess its cool as long as it works. but then it asks me for disk1? wtf??? so i have no clue whats going on. any hints at all?

Alright so i ranted to steam support.
Incoming wall of text:
Just today, because of the Caravan package of Fallout New Vegas, I purchased Morrowind for 75% off. only $5 was a GREAT deal to me. I've loved bethesda games and that was one of the few I haven't played. After I purchased morrowind I downloaded and installed it without problems. I ran the game almost immediately. After the bethesda intro and some short loading, the game crashed right before the menu screen. (picture file attached) It said that the menu music file was missing. So I restarted my computer. Tried again with no luck, So i re-installed the game in my steam games library. and once again no luck. I couldn't see how this was bethesda's fault since it is a download from Steam. My computer meets every requirement of the game and goes way over if that's considered the problem. Another note: after reading the music file error message before the crash, I checked my steam common folder and checked under the morrowind folder, I found every music file. all files are accounted for, or at least it seems. but I DID find an UNINSTALL folder. so i looked into it and found a rar archive and a couple other files. and the setup. so I tried to run the setup. but instead of uninstalling it was trying to INSTALL morrowind. so I figured 'this is ok as long as morrowind works' but then it asked me for disk1 that contained a file that I FOUND in the same folder as the setup. I selected to browse for the file it needed but wouldn't work. I could not enter to see the files individually. only select a drive. That will be it for my wall of text. It's just very disappointing to purchase any game and it not work (even if it was only $5)
Is there a solution to this? There should be no reason for this to not work.
we'll wait and see the reply...

Hello,

Hello Alex, Thank you for contacting Steam Support. Technical support for this title is handled by a third party support department - please follow the link below for instructions to contact the support provider for this title: Title: Morrowind: Game of the Year Edition Link: http://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=6791-DMOJ-4728 Please let us know if you experience further difficulties, or if you have additional questions or concerns.
OK so yeah they said I have to talk to Bethesda just because it a Morrowind title. Now I bet everyone who reads this could almost guarantee that this would be Bethesda's response: You'll have to talk to steam about the product since you downloaded it from their database/store. or something like that.
So waiting for support on this game (even if it was 2 or 3 days) this is the reply I get? "lol we canz not help yuuu cuz we dun wanna reed wall of text lololz"
So this is my reply to steam support:
Ok, Now I waited very patiently for your reply and you tell me to ask Bethesda for help? Because YOU guys don't know how to help? how can it POSSIBLY be Bethesda's fault for the game not working? I downloaded Morrowind straight from the steam store. This is ridiculous. It's clearly an error in Steam's download and you guys aren't even offering any kind of help besides pawning me off to bethesda'a support team.
