if combining:
A) 12 / 2
B) 123 / 3
C) 1236 / 4
D) 12365 / 5

if multiplying:
A) 1*2 / 2
B) 1*2*3 / 3
C) 1*2*3*4 / 4
D) 1*2*3*4*5 / 5
E) 1*2*3*4*5*6 / 6
