Banned from TTT server

I would like to note this too had happened to me.
I just reformated my PC, I mean brand new. all I had on it and virus protection and steam.
I Downloaded Gmod and entered the TTT server. I had windows updating at the time and not 10 sec being in the server, i got auto banned.

Does your antivirus have a firewall.  I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it, but if your going to play, you should turn it off because it can lag you down or crash your game.  Some ISP modems/gateways have built in firewalls so a firewall on your computer would be pointless.

This is just from personal experience.
