Title: flood water fail

ok i just bought gmod for real, before i had cracked steam.. anyways i started to play flood and noticed that my water is completley clear! no detail its like nothings there. if anyone has any fix to it let me know.. they only games i have for steam is gmod and counterstrike source.. thanks for any help

All the different games have different water um stuff. So it my be that the map uses hl2 water or something.

Well, I know that if you have directx 8 you will have problems viewing certain elements of water.

I know there was a hackish fix for this but I'm not sure of it's whereabouts as of now. :/

Some maps use HL2 water, some us CSS water. Which map was it?
