So, yesterday, I went to Noxious Build Server for a Day for the lolz and they had wiremod, but phx2 not phx3. I asked an admin about it and they said Wiremod is dumb, And phx is gay and laggy and they flamed me for using it and told me they both were useless, blah blah blah. More shockingly, EVERYONE in the server agreed. So, I ask you, What do YOU think of phx and wiremod?

Well, when you don't have both in your garrysmod/addons folder, your game loads significantly faster. That's why i don't have it, i hate waiting at the "sending client info" for like 2 minutes. Without it, 30 secs :D

I realised instead of building laggy + shitty looking objects with phx3 i can instead make them in hammer :D
But dont get me wrong ph3 is good for making maybe a wire turret or sumthin.
As for wire... i cant really say cus i only used it for gcombat and garry's bombs.

Wire is good for making automatic doors, sensors, trackers, the ability to drive your own cars with WASD, traps and tons of other shiz I can't thing about right now.
If you know how to use it, you'll love it.

They are both very useful to our community, alot of people go on wirebuild just to use Wiremod and PHX3. So i have no problem with the Mods.

phx is epic... cant build much without it really.
wire is rly easy to learn. except e2 cause thats coding... and with my experience i can only edit someones code XD

Never said i didn't like it, All i said was not a big fan of it. I have no problem with others using it nor do i care if its in the server.

Oh please, I can't tell you how many times I've successfully controlled a mingebag with no respected authority, simply by using wire contraptions and E2.

I don't use wiremod often, but PHX is a must since its basically hundreds of tiles in different sizes, its a must for construction.

I'd say they are both Awesome in many ways, but they all have their flaws as well.
Phoenix-Storms' props takes a lot away from the Imagination perspective of Garry's Mod. As in: You can make a House out of Fridges and Companion Cubes, OR You can use Phoenix-Storms' props and make a house out of Generic metal squares...
Yeah. But Wiremod has no flaws on any perspective to my knowledge. It fixes every gripe a new or experienced Garry's Mod user may have when constructing things. Need to build a car? No Numpad? Hate to have to use the Numpad keys? Wire that shit up! Want to make a turret? Want it to be aimed by your mouse? Wire that shit up! Need make something revolutionary inside of Garry's Mod, but can't with the limited tools available? You get the drill.
Oh Wiremod and Phoenix Storm, how I love you so.
