When I lived in the Philippines in Pasay My grandma's house was elevated and there was a huge flight of stairs you had to climb before you reach the sliding wooden antique door.

Whenever it "baha"d I'd just watch from the window and see street kids playing in the murky gray water and I'm like that's fucking nasty and these kids are naked having fun with it like it's a swimming pool.

But whenever I was their age I was jelous they get to play in the "baha" and the only way I could get in it is if I wear boots to protect the water from coming in.

I did save a drowning stray kitten when it was storming out. It's mother was just like ".....*walks off*...."
