If you want to download this program and/or understand it more, click here http://folding.stanford.edu/ (http://folding.stanford.edu/)

When you are done downloading it, right  click the Folding@Home button at the bottom of your taskbar, Click configure, enter your username, and for team number, enter in 190764

This program can help cure diseases and a lot more. The team page is here http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/main.py?qtype=teampage&teamnum=190764 (http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/main.py?qtype=teampage&teamnum=190764)

You see, I'm too lazy to read the FAQ and stuff, and I don't know how this can help cure diseases, so could you guys please tell me?

well, if you find yourself leaving your computer on over night or idle during the day, you can download the folding @ home client thingy, that will download work packs, then calculate a bunch of information about the protein sequence it "folded", and then it will upload the work unit report back to the place for processing, and data usage/storage. all you do is download the exe, run it, and turn it on while your AFK. all it does is calculate shit and upload the results, to help speed up and cheapen scientific research.
