Hi,
I have been playing on the PH server regularly since i found it about two weeks ago. My number one reason for playing on this new server was having a votekick/voteban option. Now it appears to be gone.
Judging from other posts made here, i admit its possible that the privilege is being abused. However i also have to acknowledge the possibility that some of the people who are complaining were kicked for a substantial reason.
Normally i got on with a bunch of friends (about 5-8 friends), and then one person joins who i dont know who either uses a radar, aimbot, or seriously abuses glitch spots that are impossible to overcome (today it was some joker named BR - samukaaa ;) STEAM_0:1:19796951). We tried to votekick but we couldn't. There was no admin to remove him. so what was left for us to do? some of us left, and other used the same glitch posts in return. the point being that at that point no one was having fun anymore.
However voteban is equally effective as votekick. Last week we had a radar user who we kicked a number of times. People like him do this just to irritate others so he naturally came back again and again. no admin in sight. the voteban feature was used and rightfully so. he came back an hour later and apologized claiming to have removed the hacks and judging by his gameplay then on we gave him a second chance at playing fairly.
The point being this: If you are either A. willing and able to have the server staffed with admins or B. have a staff memeber within easy reach then the votekick/ban is a necessary evil. I would rather deal with an admin who constantly threatens to ban people for no other reason then to satisfy his/her own ego then being forced to submit to hackers who also are there to stroke their egos.
The solution is pretty straight forward. Please bring back the vote or please give us access to people that can initiate a vote.

I agree. No one wants to play anymore because there are too many people causing the server to become less fun, and we have no way to stop them. I have also been playing for a good week and I have enjoyed messing around and if someone were to hack we would voteban them. Now that the feature is gone, no one can stop these people from hacking and everyone is just going to quit.

Yea really. I hated that guy. There should be admins paying or unpaying. And my buddy up here would be a good admin. If not allowed for free than honestly I would pay to get stupid people like him off.

I agree, bring back voteban/votekick for non-respected too. Or like izak said, at least let us have access to admins on this server so they can initiate a vote for us.

Yeah, voteban can be very useful when a hacker just keeps coming back and there is no admin in sight.

I've been coming to your server for a couple days now. Meeting izak, upon the other few that come online, made your server my favorite. Making it my only prop hunt server i go to. Today i was to find out an admin (or someone?) removed the kick / ban vote. What? Why would you remove a feature that made your server better than others? Without kick / ban vote, how could we remove that wall glitcher yesterday? Or what about 2 days ago when we had a mic spammer? Admins you say? Where? I haven't seen any admins, mostly because you implemented that feature, but taking it out is a bit much. Please bring it back and restore our democracy.

Okay, i appreciate the amount of posts from the users - but let me clarify..
The vote system was in NO way removed.
The system was modified to allow only our 'respected' members access the function.
This was because of large amount of abuse from random guests that join.
Noting I'm sure all of you, mostly by taking the time to express your thoughts here on the forum, are not abusers of the system.
With this said, I would like to invite you to become a 'respected' member to have this functionality.
With most of our frequent players as 'respected', abuse will hopefully see a dramatic decrease and a better way to manage abusers.
As I said before, it was never removed - just modified to hopefully increase it's efficiency vs abuse ratio.
As for mic spamming.. clients all have a local mute function - I suggest you learn how to use it.
Edit: To address paid admins. This is a non-profit community and no funds have/are ever exchanged between anybody in the form of real-world currency. To me, the time put in to select an efficient admin pays a lot more than any abusive admin would with any period of time. Also, we are not an agency and do not have a staff of people under control. It's completely optional for anybody to contribute anything-anytime with what they have.

Thank you for your reasonable assessment of the situation. How do we become "respected" specifically? do we send you a PM with our steam IDs? Thank you for working with us on this issue, personally i am very anxious to start enjoying prop hunt again :)

He Izak,
Right now the only people with a vote kick/ban option are certain resp. and admins. I too play on that server a lot and you know when I am on there I ban the appropriate people for hacking/cheating.
When I become an admin I/we will be able to have better moderation on the prop hunt server.
I, Like many other people in the RND server have been victim to random banning, if you do good in a game u get banned, If people don't like you, you get banned, if you r just there u get banned. It is ridiculous how much people abuse the system.
Mark my words....if I become admin I will help clean up the servers from minges, hax, and people that have anti kick/ban...that is the worst!

IF you want admin then GO TO SUPER ADMIN FORUM PART AND POST YOUR INTRO, AND ALL OF THE STUFF WHAT SLEEPER SAID AT THE STICKIED POST!!! please :P
