Post by: Krasher on June 23, 2010, 06:59:50 PM
K so I was running a test.

http://www.xfire.com/video/2ea883/ (http://www.xfire.com/video/2ea883/)

My FPS never drops below 60 - 70

While recording it is about 15 - 20

I used to drop a lot of FPS when using xfire video recorder, till I upgraded to my new comp, now it doesnt affect me at all. So I think its more of a system thing than an xfire thing.

WeGame is very easy to record shitz with, it barely effects your FPS, though it cant record sound

Taking a screenshot every frame per second and compiling that. + Recording audio and syncing that with images.

The process can take a good majority of your CPU, and most of the videos in Fraps are 3 GB video clips.

IE: I recently deleted all the videos in my Fraps Movies folder. It totaled at 78.54 GB worth of Clips.

Capturing+Converting+Compiling+Syncing+Rendering, Over and over again.
