So it was just the router and modem..
Speaking of routers, do you multiple computers and devices accessing the internet which then requires you to have a router?
You have a wifi device?
Be sure to configure an encryption system to your router or other people would be accessing your internet and wasting off your speed and bandwidth. Then you'll get laggy.
go to run
then cmd
then type ipconfig /all
then see your ethernet ip address
mine is something like 192.168.1.66
or 192.168.11.xx
different routers has different internet protocol configurations.
Find the default gateway.
mine is 192.168.1.254
type that out on your browser
then you should be accessing your router's stuff
and start editing and adding your password before you get hacked
