This is not a complaint, more like a discussion, based off Ruben's post here (http://forum.randomgs.co.cc/index.php/topic,2412.0.html).
How many times have you guys votekicked/votebanned mic spammers? I'm not talking about people playing crappy music. I'm talking about people shouting into their mics. The people with the really bad mic and/or really annoying voice that talk incessantly to the point that nobody can hear anybody else. Yea yea I know you can mute in the esc menu. Honestly though, isn't a kick fair if the person was justly warned by the people, and then was kicked by the people? It is difficult sometimes to tell whether a mic spammer was being malicious or just ignorant to peoples complaints.
For example, one of the ZS players was being quite annoying yesterday(or more correctly, this morning, it was about 1:something this morning). He was singing into his mic really, really loudly. I probably shouldn't say this (to avoid ruining my chances for admin) but I was about two seconds from kicking them. I said "I know I am not allowed to do this but honestly..." to which another RND member said "Ill do it for you." In the end the spamm0r was not kicked but we had a near unanimous desire to kick him. Sex_kitten and Jim_Onions can verify this story.

True,I havent votekicked/banned anyone for unless I was asked too,if the people don't want the music they can mute,yes,but we mustnt forget t3h niggas out there unable to press mute

i can get by with the mute option, sometimes someone kicks a guy whos mic spamming without even telling them to stop. i usually explain how t0 use the mute option. im typing in short sentances. i know who you're talking about. Why he does it i dont know. theres a solution t all this. use the mute button. anybody who wants to kick them even after having explained how to use the mute option shudDIE.

Perhaps a reason option,like the voteban needs a reason to ban and if the reason isnt detected in the game somehow then the ban wont go through

Ironically, there's always one guy who mic spams and constantly talks on the mic but has a perfect mic,
sounds fine, and doesn't play annoying music, but reads the texts of the chat box and assumes that
everything in the chat box involves him. He reads something that someone said about someone else.
And this person, takes it as something offensive, and the harassment starts. He starts harassing people for
saying those things in the chat box that doesn't imply to him. We attempt to explain that the previous statements
does not have anything to do with him but... this person is ignorant I assume and throws our (the whole server) explanation
out the window and continues on harassing people. Until it got to the point he was offending innocent people (ppl that never spoke in the chat box nor spoken to him at all), and team killing.
I had to kick him.

Actually, the point with all the people kicking him is kinda wrong. In nearly every Server, people just vote yes and THEN ask what he did. I noticed it in ZS when I kicked myself some times. People just vote yes. It's their natural response to this funny big box popping out of nowhere.
I myself don't care about people's mic, as long as they don't get too annoying. They can play their shitty music as long as it has SOME kind of quality (and I don't mean if I like it or not, just if it sounds like it's converted with a child radio or not). But yea, I honestly thought about kicking some kids constantly yelling in their mics too, but never did it myself. If I can name any examples, a lot of people asked me multiple times to kick mokey or raidersfan cause their mic spam is so annoying.
... There should be a guide in the rules telling people to mute, because they simply don't seem to get it.
/Edit: Actually I did once kick someone for yelling in his mic. A russian kid that was constantly yelling something russians to his other russian friends in Flood.

heres a guidline I use.
If they play music mute them not everyone hates it.
If they are being anyoying by screeming swaring and such kick them. These people are purposely trying to piss everyone off.

How you may get Krasher to kick you

Chapter 1
If many people wants "anyone" out of the game for a viable reason, Krasher will then take note and watch the person for about 3 minutes. If the statements of the people are correct, Krasher will warn the player of his future-kicking if his ways do not change. The player decides to be a lvl. 60 Asshat? Then Krasher presses y, type his name in, and lets the people decide. He will not vote on these matters for some reason.
Chapter 2
Krasher is a subtle person, he does not desire to kick you from the game, but if you break the rules and show me a new level of faggotry, be on the lookout for a kick coming your way! Mic Spam, although annoying. Krasher tells his friends to simply mute him, let him talk to himself eh? But by unanimous decision Krasher shall press y, type his name in, and lets the people decide his fate.

If someone says "KICK THIS GUYS HE A MINGE" I look at him for 30 seconds then kick heem. Again, like Krasher, If I am not personally vested in the matter I will not vote.
