What if the Big Bang theory was proven?
·UηİŦ··:
Well then.
I hope our Universe uses Ω < 1.

Best doomsday ever, assuming one is even alive then.

Some force that we as humans don't quit understand is controlling these events.

I think what makes this complex universe work is something I don't know about yet. Maybe it did work randomly out of thin air and maybe not, some scientists say there are millions of universes and our universe is one which worked and even has a planet/s that can sustain life forms. Maybe there's a force controlling and maybe there isn't. But it's not a god.
My definition of god - Some devine being that punishes/rewards people for what they do, gives humans rules and needs to be worshipped in some way. Kind of my definition of god.

Oh
Forgot about that part
Well
Carry on.

so even though their could be a divine force out their that bend things to its liking, it cant be a god, right?, a god is some old man in the sky that rides around smiting ppl. ::)
but think of how rationally things work, i mean you dont see mountains blowing up from their atoms not being all alined. everying work rationally and has a balance. that kind of thing doesnt happen randomly, it would be like putting a stick of dynamite in a stack of bricks and the falling bricks make a brick house.
·UηİŦ··:
Maybe the Universe is just one big mathematical Equation being put through a entity or machine of some sort in order to get an answer.
Maybe that's the Balance... though, keep in mind, things are always asploding, even on Earth, let alone the Sun, and tiny atoms somewhere, and Quarks are always leaping (Do we really know?) from one place to another, maybe even seeping through the Universes randomly, for even the fractions of a nanosecond (I don't know the actual number/value, but just to give an idea, it's a really relatively short time).
Spoiler (click to show/hide)Maybe God is just one big Mathematician.
Maybe we're just a dream.
The Big bang, if there was one, was basically turning the initial value/values/ from 0 to 1 or a number greater than 1? Some more complex string of operations, variables and constants I can't comprehend?
And then, you could very well say, the making of life could have been part of this equation... so basically if theories on the origin of life that attempt to find a mechanism explaining the formation of a primordial single cell organism from which all life originates were ever proven reality and not a theory, then whatever part/function of the equation that defines how life starts and how it evolves (If one believes in that) could be tied to The Laws of Physics/Reality, and everything about them that constitutes the being and fundamentals of the Universe.
Quantum physics is math. Hell, almost everything is math/can go with math.
I have 5 fingers.
There are Trillions of trillions of cells in me. Most of those cells make up membranes. Those membranes make up layers. Those layers work in systems (Blood is technically just Plasma with oxygenated/deoxigenated blood cells in it, not sure that Plasma is a "solid" state of matter as far as my fleshy parts go sans my Skeletal System... do I just call it Plasma?). Those systems sometimes work together as Organs and Flesh, Bones etc to create a body (Brain included).
I can count the bottlecaps on my desk, and arrange them how I see fit.
I can use math to determine Gravity, Speed, Distance, The illusion of Time, Light, How Tensile is this Band Of Rubber, How many times will this ball bounce, How tall will this tree grow give or take 30 years... anything that involves being or the perception thereof.
My computer uses simple signals of ON and OFF and feeds them through many devices in order to create a supercomplex system that can do pretty much anything, given the resources.
My Brain, Everyone's brain has the unused potential to Completely surpass a Computer's Logic Power and then some, even to perform Quantum Computing.
Holy shit.
Many-Worlds Theory and Schrödinger's cat, if they can be proven (But due to their circumstances, they can only be proven to the observer observing the outcome desired by us (Living Cat, peering into an alternate series of events VIA some miraculous machine we never made etc)...
In that case, the statement that Math is the Universal Language, and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy may of been spot on with 42, maybe even more so with:
"What is the Question to The Universe?"
I'd rather stop thinking altogether and making inconsistent points to which I'm only ever just randomly spitting out.
No one man could figure that out. Let alone, stop to breathe and eat and sleep and keep his heart beating and his body in good shape, and not die of old age, let alone comprehend god knows what.
