If you're not sure what spoutcraft is, this short copypasta might help better explain it.

Think Gmod, in how you can join a server with an assload of custom content, then join another that's fairly vanilla. The client will download, install, and configure whatever addons the server has directly to you without any other modification.
All you have to do is download the spoutcraft client (download link here) and run that instead of minecraft.exe
No other configuration is needed.
"BUT WHAT IF I DON'T WANT TO SEE AWESOME STUFF AND WANT TO KEEP BEING BORING QQ", well don't fret young lad'! That's why it's an optional update! You can still continue to play on the server with the standard minecraft client, you'll just be missing out on the custom content is all.
As an incentive to get people to start using spout, you'll earn 10 gold every day you join using the spout client.
Another small development is that I decided to start accepting donations after a few people asked me about them.
I'd like to explain a little more about that before I do though. The initial reason I didn't want to open up donations was because I felt the need to somehow say "thanks" but couldn't come up with a way that didn't make it look like you were paying to get something. This included custom colors in chat, in-game items or abilities, etc. I really dislike the idea of charging people to just use content that should be available in the first place.
So here's what I decided to do, as a thank you, you'll get your name on the OP of the thread, along with the amount donated. This'll be the only time I'll bring it up aside from a small edit in the OP. Anything helps, but if you don't have anything to give, don't go out of your way. The server will keep running, I'll survive, it's not a big deal. :>

Anyways, feel free to give me any suggestions for what I should do or what other changes you want done on the server. If my internet doesn't totally screw me over again, I'll be on early tomorrow morning and be working on the server with mostly spout-related addons.

(It was made compatible for bukkit by some guy I don't know.)
