How would you get a date? And what would do on that date?

I'm not desperate or anything but I want to see your ways of getting a date with a guy/girl and what would you do on that date. The real reason on doing this is to prove someone wrong( not going into greater detail)

Everyone is different and has their own techniques. There is no "right way" to ask out a girl/boy. It all depends on what the two of you are comfortable with and what you guys feel is best.

For me, a date would be to get to know someone (better). Getting a date isn't hard; Hey, you wanna go to lunch/dinner with me friday?

What you do on a date is your choice, but mostly you talk. You find out what they like, don't like, what you have in common, etc. The most important thing is to act like yourself, especially on the first date. Because if it becomes something long term, you don't have to pretend to be someone you are not.

Depending on who this person is, a date in my eyes can be just spending time with them. Though most people consider a date to be a bit more planned out, and is generally an outing of some sort, I think just being with them is good enough for me.  :)

First date should actually be somewhere where not a lot of words are shared, like a movie. No sound is worse than silence.
