skype keeps crashing whenever i start it

Whenever I start skype, it's fine until press a button or 2: ex: Profile or somebody in my contacts list, skype crashes with this: skype has stopped responding. Any ideas whats causing this?

ooo, I just had this problem and fixed it a while ago, just dl the beta version of Skype.
