Spread for AK-47 - 0.005
As for recoil,
AK - SWEP.Primary.Recoil = 0.4
M4 - SWEP.Primary.Recoil = 0.3
So the AK is about 33% less accurate than the M4.
Now lets put this into scale,
SWEP.Primary.Recoil = 1 means the gun would jump one hammer unit out of 32.
If firing two shots in rapid succession,
the M4's second bullet would be 0.9 meters above the initial bullet at a distance of 100 meters,
and the AK's second bullet would be 1.25 meters above the initial bullet at a distance of 100 meters.
So yes, you're right. The AK does have a higher recoil.
It's not significant enough to make any major difference though.
After looking through all the weapons, it's starting to show that all of them are near carbon copies of each other.
Even the XM1024 is exactly the same as the pump shotgun, it just has a faster fire rate.

Seriously, people were discussing about modifying some guns and you just jumped on the conclusion that I have quoted above.
After all, it was a discussion, it doesn't mean that we are going to edit guns.
Also, you either wanted to insult Sabb or you were really running out of arguments and then when he responded ,for me, it seemed that you tried your best to make him and eventually Jman look bad which seemed to be a some kind of personal need for you. It seems that you deliberately wanted to start a flame war.

That being said, perhaps deagle and ak should be nerfed, but I don't mind playing the game as it is now.

Well you're a little more rational than some of the other people here, but a few things.
Those quotes Jman posted were all from Riot where I am a moderator, I wasn't sure if you knew that.
And I don't think that reply with an unoriginal meme is really sufficient for a player impersonating an admin to one of the staff. This was a very dumb kid, who barely spoke English so there was no chance to be witty either.
Regardless of whether you approve of my responses. I was completely misrepresented by Jman who was either too lazy to look at the context, or simply trying to make me look bad.
As for the Sabb thing, I wasn't running out of arguments he simply didn't bring one forward.
On top of that he was unnecessarily derisive and then proceeded to tell everyone nobody agreed with me, when there are at least a few who do.
This was based more on who I am than what I posted, which is why I responded the way I did.
And to the ACTUAL DISCUSSION OF BALANCE:
I'm talking about against an equally skilled player such as devonjones, Vulva Vore, or RoaringCow.
I think it is important to balance the game more around seasoned players than newer ones, since they will improve with time and having a high skill ceiling is important for fps.
Stronghold is already pretty accessible due to how quickly players die, even a newbie can land a lot of kills while learning the ropes.

The first quote was my frustration with him for not understanding, the second was actually Sabb projecting his hatred of me which stemmed from constantly owning him, but I guess that isn't the whole story, the third was just in response to your misinterpretation of ad hominem fallacy and the patronizing tone you used.
