yeah thats the one I was looking at, there was a seagate one with about the same specs for cheaper but it was one of those Eco Green things I don't really need. IDC about the sound as long as its not overly loud.

Yeah, Ive never had an issue with a WD that wasnt my fault (Hard or multiple falls and such). I just dont see why everyone hates WD.
Also, ecogreen drives dont suffer much in performance, but its a joke anyways... Harddrives dont use much power regardless. 60 watt lightbulb, or a 59 watt, sir?

My Samsumg drive quite often gives me wrong indexed files, corrupted files too... I'd go for WD if you ask me, just not the "green" series
