I said that I had issues with my mouse wheel, and was wondering if in an update they'd fix it, but all they send to me is to Reinstall game and run cache defrag...

There was one time when I forgot my email pass which I used for my steam guard, so I submitted a report and
after like 4 - 5 days they removed the email so that I could use a new one.

I asked if they have an update if it fixes the issue...

And the guy tells me to reinstall steam.

Steam support can be useful, depending on the issues.

I've forgotten my password (and once I got hacked) and I just sent them a ticket and told them a CD key I had registered to the account and they got it back in about 2 or 4 days  ;D
