I think what's been getting me through is like what most have said, be cool with your teachers.
They've helped me majorly and they trust me, which is a bonus.

and for the love of God, use common sense.

High school is just something you have to experience, it's different for everyone.
There are many things people just have to figure out for themselves. :d
