I need a graphics card
Rocket50:
Being the person with shit all computer experience, I need a suggestion on what graphics card to buy.
-I am willing to go at most, 175 dollars (With rebate included) with no PSU restrictions
-Brand Preference: ATI or Nvidia, doesnt matter as long as its not some brand no one has ever heard of

There's a link above to the Canadian Newegg site. But if there's a graphics card from another site that you think tops those ones, feel free to add them
Appreciate it :L

I'm not an expert but this one seems promising

Peetah:
175$.
Your best bet would be a 460 or a 6850.
There seriously identical performance. Pick which ones looks nicer lol.
Supertoaster:
For $175..
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121391 It's $167. This is the Asus CuCore one so it stays cooler and you can overclock it farther. If you don't want to overclock and don't care much about temps they have a Palit one for $140 http://www.newegg.ca/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&IsNodeId=1&Description=GTX%20460&bop=And&Order=PRICE&PageSize=100
The 460 is a bit better then 6850, not by much.
EDIT: And if you see an Asus one for $144 that's because it's only 768mb of memory (and the peformance between the 1gb and the 768mb is pretty different)
Cake Faice:
Yosh, nid get Supertoaster's suggestion. Since the 460 and 6850 are pretty much in the same performance range, I'd get the ASUS one. ASUS cards are epic for overclocking.
