My dad was in the navy,

He flew F-14 Tomcats, and served in both gulf wars

He was a O-6 aka Commander

Captain Communism:
Story Time:
My dad was an M60 gunner on the CH47 "Chinook".
He was flying over a field in Afghanistan for a routine patrol.
They noticed an old T-72, but paid it no attention, seeing how the Soviets left behind a lot of crap.
They flew over it for four days.
On the fifth day, it was gone, with tread tracks headed for the mountains.
They never saw it again.
