it is important that you have a static ip, otherwise you will have to reconfigure the server every time you reconnect to the internet.

http://portforward.com/networking/static-win7.htm

Once you set the static ip for your computer, forward the port (25565) with that static ip
Don't forget to change the ip in server.properties

Lol, after spending about 30 or so minutes looking for 2 different DNS Address, I finally decided to call my ISP. after talkint with them for a few minutes, they lead me to the DSN that I had already had via Command Prompt> ipconfig /all. After explaining to them that I needed two different DNS' Address's, they told me that I can't set up a static IP address with Time Warner Roadrunner.

Awesome. I guess I'll stick with Hamachi then?

Thanks anyways Deacon's for the help. Very much appreciated.

>Edit: Game Freak, thanks again for offering to help, but I figured out a way to work with the permissions. All I have to do is modify the groups.yml/users.yml to my liking and then ingame or with console type /manload. I'm not sure if this is the correct way, but it works for me.

>>Edit: Well it was working. I'm not sure why it stopped...

>>>EditL I don't even know anymore. At first it let me make the changes, then it stopped, and now, it won't even let me use any of the /man commands. I'm not sure what the hell is up. o.o

Peetah:
I see you are not fully understanding how to portforward.
If you really want to know.
We can help you.

Thanks, but I've already done that. Twice.
I need to set up a static IP adress

And an update with my server: I've gotten everything basically ready. I've gotten groupmanager to work somehow and all the plugins are working except for colorme.
If you would like to join, just ask and I'll send you the IP. For now, you'll need to use Hamachi until I can set up a static IP.

Thanks everyone for the help! No way I would have been able to do this without it.
