Yea, and I agree, but taking one or two hours from one day, just so that the community can have a good time isn't treating the guests like crap...
Hell, I'm sure we can even leave the event up for an extra hour or two for guests to join as well, which I forgot to mention int he other thread... but ya...
I mean... the server can only hold so many people anyways, and the only reason I suggested it be locked with a password is so that all of the community members that want to join can get a chance to. Otherwise the server would be full...
But, at the same time, I don't necessarily think we HAVE to have only Reg+ on the server. I just want the community members to have a day to play together and have fun.
We could just announce the password on the forums, and anyone who is active on the forums will be able to join.
But the problem with that again, is people then spreading word too much, and telling any friends and then ultimately having the server full.
I don't think that should really be that big of a problem though.
Maybe we should make a poll to see if majority wants the server to be Reg+ only (anyone who's in the rANdOm Steam group), or to have forum members able to access the server.

(FUCK HAD something nice typed out then when i hit the backspace cause of a typo it return to last page GRRR anyways I'm just going to sum up what i wrote Lmao)
I'm not even part of the steam group (not on this account anyways)
But having the password posted on the forums seems like the best option so everyone in the community can join. Some people seem to think you have to be Reg+ to be apart of the community but to me server ranks are nothing more then just that, ranks. Whereas just being active on the forums makes you part of the community IMHO and theres plenty of guests that are active on the forums.

Yea, I agree, sometimes I just refer to Regs+ or anything with rank as community because it's simply easier to explain lol.

Alright, great idea Shawn, but i'm not doing this again...It makes me a bit stressed and my head starts pounding at dis confusing stuff. Someone else make teh poll :(

I won't exactly password the servers, I will disable ability to join to non Regular+ ranking members for a few hours.
I can boost the player slot count for select servers temporarily for the time period.
I'll try to be as involved as possible for as long as possible in the servers.
I might tweak elements of game-play temporarily.. etc. ;)
