Another thing I would LOVE to see is somehow list them by the preferred player-size.

List it from smallest maps to largest, based on user input.


People always vote for zs_ascent when theres like 20+ people ;~;


Yelling as loud as you can "LETS VOTE FOR A BIG MAP" generally helps with this though.

Let's avoid adding too much, 'cause you get like 10 seconds to vote and by the time you find what you want, it might be already too late to pick it.

i'd rather pick a map that i know i like

or be able too atleast
alot of the time i spend the whole voting time looking for what i want and just dont vote at all

I have seen several ways of going about this. Some servers with over 30 maps will randomly chose 5 or so maps and you vote on those instead of the whole list. I have also see ones based on what Snivy said about the player amount. I believe it was an sm plugin that controlled the maps that were avalible to chose with a certain amount of players.

with fretta there's already the limits on the gamemode anyway, should be able to find the map you want for it, since you already have the limits on the gamemode

having people choose new maps.. confusing them isnt really the way to do it i think
