you see time travel is therotically possible. All of the universe sits on a frabric of time. With that said if you could stop the expansion of the fabric or retract it you never know what could happen! :D

Basically, with time travel, if it could happen, it already has. Nobody tried to stop the Lincoln/Kennedy assassination, nobody tried to stop 9/11, nobody tried to do anything one small act would forever change, so it's not going to happen.
