So, I have NVIDIA GeForce 9800GT 512Mb graphics card and I need to know at what highest temperature can it go
without overheating and crashing my PC since whenever I've been playing a game for longer then ~30mins the whole PC crashed
because the GPU were overheating.

When I took off part of my PC's hull and lowered game settings the temp were holding on ~75C(~165F) for about 30 minutes
and then it were slowly rising to +90C( 190-200+F) and then I turned the game off since I was afraid that my GPU may overheat.

Right now the temperature is ~55C(~131F) and I have two Firefox windows and Everest (program that I use to see what temp my GPU is at) running.

So, how high can my GPU temp be without overheating it?

Note: My cooler is not working properly.

Yeah I remember you were talking about this in game. It was like 90 C when you were playing... not very healthy.

Get a new/proper cooler?

Cable:
When ever the thing gets hot,

Just dump a bottle of water on it. That should do the trick.

Deathie:
Order some fans online for 10~$ for a set of 3 powerful fans and get better air circulation to your system.

Peetah:
Older cards have thresholds of 90C. But I say nothing over 80.
Newer fermis can go well over 100.
