Er... maybe it is my pounding my brain with computer system architecture and computer programming theory for the last few years, or cynicism, or both, but nobody working with computers - especially programming them - should say anything is impossible [and then draw a ridiculous analogy like that].  UNLIKELY?  Yes, depending on the code and how it was implemented, but never impossible.
