That's a fucked up way to put it.
I think it's an accomplishment whenever you say or do something that warrants the person whose reading/watching it to go out of their way and plus 1ing you.
Even though the respected system is abused as fuck with people boosting and such, there's still a lot of posts that gain legit +1'ns.
