Don't feed the trolls. All they are is a group of trolls. Think about it, most of the stuff that they do is deliberately offensive to well... Everyone. Everyone in the family of the priest of that church have gone to a top flight law school, so they are very good at pushing the bounds of the legal system.
So they basically go around, carefully ensuring they remain on the right side of the law, while offending everyone. I bet you that if their story was never reported, it would never have become an issue, they would have lost interest, and moved onto some other way to offend everyone.
Don't let them get you riled it really is what they want, they are just using Christianity as an excuse to justify their attempts to get attention. And when someone finally does bite and attempts to take them to court they spin the red tape around the victim and fight them in court until they manage to squeeze some cash out of them.
It's nothing but a scam. There are probably some people in that church that believe what that "Reverend" is spewing out, but they are just cannon fodder so the church leaders can run their scam.
There is a guy in my hometown who is the same way as these people, he went to law school and now spends his time suing the city over useless red tape things like some random business's business license. He doesn't always win, but he gets a profit since he doesn't have to pay a lawyer. If he actually cared about the issues, he would put the money to good use, instead he just pockets it, and costs the city hundreds of thousands in legal fee's and Payments.
