Because a 10 karma'd player can do the same amount of damage as a 1000 Karma'd person by propkilling

But i remember once i troll killed a guy whit a barrel and losed 200 karma.

OT: Im pretty sure the karma system recognizes killing a player via prop throwing as a type of RDM now.
