The Heart of Darkness is a classic that covers imperialism. It consists of the journey of a man named Marlow who gets a lucky break and is able to travel to the new world on this river he has always wanted to since a child. His steam boat winds up breaking down and he experiences the unjust and inhuman treatment of the natives. Once he does get the steam boats materials and stuff fixed he is faced with a trial because of a “god” named Mr. Kurtz.
