I wasn't aware the 5th amendment wasn't standing.

I'm pretty sure last time you checked you have every right to freedom of speech, hence the right to protest peacefully.

I think it's more along the lines of "I'm afraid of stating my opinion cause it may be offensive to someone else and I'll be accountable for it."

Not saying I support this idea, I just understand both sides.

If there's something you're too afraid of to post, then it is probably not good, meaning it's something that will offend a lot of people, so you shouldn't say it anyways...
If you're just afraid of people arguing about it, either discuss it with them and deal with it, or just ignore them.
Really don't think this is needed.
