If we're going for realistic, I don't think you'd turn right away.

Plus, once you're hit, you would be infected, and slowly dying, but instead, your life remains stable, which should only happen if you are immune, WHICH YOU AREN'T considering you still 'turn' after you die.

BUT when you die you aren't inside the human stronghold. If you get killed by a fast/poison headcrab, you get to wreak havoc inside the cade as whatever zombie the headcrab is related to.

Might seem overpowered/unbalanced/complicated, but it'll help teamwork and be more realistic.
