Millions of Egyptians protested against Mubarak's corruption. Shit became so serious that they completely shut down Egypts' internet. Mubarak publicly announced that he would not step down, triggering hundreds of thousands of protesters to protest in Tahrir Square. Christians and Muslims (despite having previous hatred) even helped each other.

"Christians started their Sunday Mass in Cairo's Tahrir Square as Muslim protesters formed a ring around them to protect them during the service. Crowds in Tahrir Square chanted "We are one, we are one" ahead of prayers held at noon for those killed during the protests."

Two riots were violent, and at the end, 335 people were killed. Then finally on Febuary 11th, 2011, Mubarak resigned as President, ending his 30 year reign over Egypt.
